Pakistan: Azam Khan & Mohammad Rizwan
If we talk about wicket-keepers, Pakistan seem to have an edge over here. Mohammad Rizwan is among the best batters in the T20 format. But for India, neither Rishabh Pant nor Sanju have had a successful T20I career so far. Overall, the Pakistan duo of Rizwan and Azam get a rating of 8.25. Whereas the Indian duo of Pant and Samson get a rating of 7.75.
All-rounders
India: Axar Patel, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja & Shivam Dube
Pakistan: Imad Wasim & Shadab Khan
Coming to all-rounders, there is only one name in the Pakistan team, and that is Imad Waseem. Imad is a proper all-rounder, but Shadab is more of a make-shift all-rounder for Pakistan. But overall, the trio of Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, and Ravindra Jadeja easily outperform Pakistan with a rating of 9.33 as compared to Pakistan’s 8.75.
Spinners
India: Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja & Yuzvendra Chahal
Pakistan: Abrar Ahmed, Iftikhar Ahmad, Imad Waseem & Shadab Khan
Talking about spinners, India once again seem to have a solid edge here with the likes of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal leading the charge with a rating of 8.9. With these two wrist spinners in place, India also have Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja among the two solid backups. Whereas for Pakistan, there is only Shadab Khan as a good spinner, and Abrar Ahmed, Imad Waseem, and Iftikhar Ahmad as good backups with a rating of 7.5.
Pacers
India: Arshdeep Singh, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj & Shivam Dube
Pakistan: Abbas Afridi, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Amir, Naseem Shah, & Shaheen Afridi
Finally, talking about the pacers, this is an area where Pakistan have an edge over India. With the likes of Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, Mohammad Amir, and Haris Rauf, Pakistan have among the best pace attacks in the competition with a rating of 8.45. But for India, Jasprit Bumrah is the only solid name on paper, and the likes of Arshdeep and Siraj are yet to make a big impact in T20s; thus India have a rating of 8.1.
