IPL 2025 Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Kolkata Knight Riders – RCB vs KKR Best Dream 11 Team and Fantasy Playing 11

Royal Challengers Bengaluru looking to seal the Playoffs spot in our RCB vs KKR match 58 best playing 11 for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

It’s the IPL 2025 restart week, and fans from across the globe cherish IPL 2025 with Royal Challengers Bengaluru taking on the Kolkata Knight Riders in their hometown, Bengaluru. There has been a change in the schedule of the pending matches of IPL 2025, and not only matches and dates but also the venues have been shuffled with border areas now being ignored for the remainder of IPL 2025.

Coincidently, it was RCB vs KKR that kick-started the IPL 2025, and now the same match is being scheduled to restart the Indian Premier League. However, things have changed drastically since then. RCB are sitting nicely in the 2nd position with 16 points from 11 games. Whereas defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders have had a below-par tournament, and with 11 points from 12 games, they are all but out of the Playoffs race.

KKR Playing for Pride

The KKR team with all those players, and a solid team on the table have nothing but their decision-making to blame. Never did they have a consistent playing 11 or a consistent batting-order, and the improper utilization of resources led to their downfall this season. However, even after these issues, KKR managed to win 5 matches, and that’s purely due to individual brilliance. There is a big learning for KKR this season, and unless the management learns from this, the situation won’t improve next season too.

Meanwhile, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru team has looked like a breath of fresh air this season. Be it their batting or bowling, both have been top-notch for them. With 8 wins from 11 games, RCB are all but in for the Playoffs. But just when things were going pretty well for them, the team was hit with injury woes. Salt and Patidar are currently recovering from injuries, Padikkal and Hazlewood have been ruled out, and there are issues with players not being available for Playoffs.

The team will have to cope with all these challenges to be able to lift the trophy for the first time. But can Patidar, Kohli, and Co., inspire the team just this one time to register their maiden IPL title win? Well, we will good 3-4 matches before we get clarity on this. but before that, let’s understand the player availability for both teams, and find out the RCB vs KKR match 58 best playing 11 for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

The RCB team is currently facing injury scares for four of their frontline players. While Padikkal and Hazlewood are already ruled out due to injuries, there is uncertainty looming on Salt and Patidar’s availability. The good news is that both, Patidar and Salt have joined the team ahead of the KKR match, and if fit, they are likely to play. Assuming both plays, we can see Bethell playing one down, and Romario will, unfortunately, have to make way to strengthen the bowling department. Hence, Lungi should continue ahead of Romari for now.

If RCB wants to play both Salt and Romario then Bethell will have to sit out, and RCB will then contemplate playing Swastik or Mayank. If at all Salt and Patidar are not playing then Kohli and Bethell should continue to open, and at 3 and 4, we can see Mayank Agarwal and Swastik Chikara. Romario and Lungi will continue to be in the playing 11 in this case.

The Kolkata Knight Riders is one team that has been least affected by the injuries or opt-outs. All their players are available, and hence, they will not have much change in their playing 11. However, the only change that we can expect in KKR’s playing 11 is the inclusion of Quinton de Kock in place of Rahmanullah Gurbaz. Gurbaz has failed to create an impact in the matches he has played, and de Kock deserves an opportunity in the final two matches against his previous franchise.
