Everything You Need
to Know About CAL

Answers to the most common questions about playing, hosting, and winning on Cricalytics Auction League.

Cricalytics Auction League (CAL) is a cricket auction platform that lets you experience the excitement of building your own franchise through live player auctions.

You can compete in Public Leagues, play with your own group through Private Leagues, or use CAL to host your own cricket tournament through Managed Leagues.

CAL offers three experiences:

  • Public Leagues: Compete against cricket fans worldwide in the Indian T20 League, T20 World Cup, ODI World Cup, or Women’s Indian T20 League auctions.
  • Private Leagues: Run the same real tournaments and scoring, but in invite-only auction leagues for your friends, office, college, club, or community.
  • Managed Leagues: Host your own local cricket tournaments with complete control using custom players, player skill-sets, player profiles, teams, logos, etc.

Once your league is ready, players are brought into a live auction.

Teams compete against each other by placing bids, managing their auction purse, and deciding which players to acquire. Every player you win becomes part of your franchise squad.

The auction experience is supported by real-time bidding, auction tracking, results, and analytics.

Not at all.

CAL is designed for cricket fans of different experience levels. You can simply enjoy the excitement of bidding for your favourite players, or go deeper into player performance, team composition, budgets, and auction strategy.

The more you play, the more strategic the experience becomes.

Yes.

Private Leagues are designed for groups that want their own invite-only cricket auction experience.

You can create a league for your friends, family, office, college, cricket club, society, or community and invite participants to join.

Yes. That’s what Managed Leagues are designed for.

You can use CAL to host an auction for your own tournament and configure elements such as players, player profiles, skill sets, teams, logos, and other league requirements.

This makes CAL suitable for local tournaments, clubs, communities, colleges, and other organized cricket events.

Yes.

Your CAL account can be used across different league experiences. You can participate in a Public League, join a Private League, and potentially be involved in a Managed League without creating separate accounts.

Your dashboard will help you access the leagues and activities associated with your account.

The auction is only the beginning.

Once your squad is built, you can follow the tournament through live points, standings, player performances, auction results, and team progress.

At the end of the competition, the winning franchise is determined based on the league’s scoring and competition structure.

Creating a CAL account is free.

However, individual leagues or experiences may have their own participation or registration requirements. These will be communicated clearly before you join or create a league.

Getting started is simple:

Register → Choose your experience → Join or create a league → Participate in the auction → Follow the tournament → Celebrate the winners.

If you’re not sure which option is right for you, start by exploring the Public, Private, and Managed experiences and choose the one that fits how you want to play.
