The Indian team will be facing their biggest hurdle of the series as they select their playing 11 for the 1st Test match at Perth. With Rohit Sharma not available, India will have to play one of Abhimanyu Easwaran or KL Rahul as the opener. With both players not doing well for India A, the ideal option would be KL Rahul, who does have some experience of playing in Australia, and has also done well.
