The first thing Gujarat Titans need to finalize is their opening combination. The team saw good success in the opening category last year with the likes of Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha. With no other good option available for Gujarat Titans, expect them to continue with the same opening combination for IPL 2024 as well. If they don’t go ahead with this, the team can play Sai Sudharsan as the opener with Matthew Wade or Robin Minz as the finisher. 

Coming to the middle-order, Sai Sudharsan should continue to play at the number 3 position as he did last year. He was instrumental for GT in knockouts, and his presence will be crucial in IPL 2024 as well. Supporting Sai should be Kane Williamson if the latter is fit and available throughout.
