IPL 2025 Retained Players Final List with Price and Purse Details

Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni among the top retentions in our full retained squad and players list for all 10 teams for IPL 2025.

46, the golden number that comes out as 10 Teams announce their official retentions for IPL 2025. Around a month back, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had announced the official IPL 2025 Retention rules, and since then, all teams have been brainstorming on the possible players that they plan to retain or release ahead of the Mega Auction.

Overall, the retention seems to be in point with teams retaining their core as much as possible. For example, Mumbai Indians managed to retain the quartet of Bumrah, Hardik, SKY, and Rohit. Similarly, CSK, SRH, and KKR Retained their match winners. But what surprises is the release of star players like KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, etc., as their respective franchises did not retain them.

Even as many star players are released in the Auction, the teams have no sign of worry. With teams having a maximum of 6 players to retain, each team will get enough opportunity in the Auction to buy the player of their choice. So, with teams now planning for the Auction, let’s in the meantime, look at the complete list of Retained players and the purse details left for all 10 Teams ahead of the IPL 2025 Mega Auction.
